Paul arrives at Lauren and Michael's. He is surprised to find Lauren in tears and Fen crying. He gives Lauren a hug and says the two of them are going to be fine.
Later, Paul tells Lauren that Fen is asleep in his crib. She calls him her hero. He offers to look after Fen while she goes out, but Lauren declines; she doesn't want to leave the baby. So, Paul decides to cheer her up by dancing with her around the room, and finally, he succeeds in making her laugh.
Paul and Lauren are now sitting on the couch. She tries to make him talk about Carmen's murder, but he answers he doesn't know anything about it and he changes the topic back to her behavior. She's not herself. Things haven't been the same since Fen was born. Lauren admits she was scared of Sheila, but since Paul showed her proof that Sheila was dead, she's fine.
Paul is leaving now. "No goodbye hug?" he asks out of the apartment. "Incentive for you to come back", she answers before closing the door.
