Paul enters Christine's apartment. He puts a vase with red roses on the table, smiles, is surprised to find a damaged video in the trash and tries to fix it. Christine appears. She kisses him, gets the tape back and thanks Paul for the flowers - she loves roses - and for being so kind to her. He feels something is wrong and hugging her, he offers to help. "You already help me", she answers. "I'm glad you're here. I feel better."
Paul wants to have the video repaired, but Christine disagrees. "What happened with this tape?" Paul asks. Christine confesses she destroyed it on purpose. The video is from Danny. There're their wedding and honeymoon on it. Danny wanted her to remind of their past together. Christine would like him to stop. She told him, but he doesn't want to listen. Paul gives Christine a hug. She apologizes for overreacting. The phone rings. While Christine picks it up, Paul puts the video in his coat pocket. He kisses Christine and tells her he'll call her later.
Paul comes into the room where Danny has been composing. He questions him about the video he gave to Christine. Danny thinks it brought back old memories. Paul disagrees. "You only make her suffer", he says. He shows Danny the damaged video. "You've destroyed it, thanks", Danny says. Paul insists he didn't do anything. Christine did. "That's over", he adds, "Christine has moved on, she told you. The only power you still have on her is to hurt her. And she doesn't deserve that; she deserves to be happy." Paul throws the tape which ends up in Danny's hands, and quickly leaves.
