Cindy took a bullet meant for Paul. She's at the hospital. Paul is at her bedside. He tells her that he has been happy and he's going to go on being happy with her. She remains silent for a little while and then, she finally replies: "not with me". In tears, Paul tries to say he won't be able to live without her, but she asks him to stop crying. She adds she's his life saver. She will always be with him. At her request, Paul hugs her. They just have time to say "I love you" to each other before she dies in his arms. He puts her back down on the bed and he cries his eyes out over her dead body.
