Paul arrives at Heather's office. The young woman looks overjoyed. She tells her father that she has news and then, she shows him her ring. Is it what he thinks about? Yes, it is. She's going to marry Adam. She loves him, and if Paul wants them to have a father/daughter relationship, he'd better accept her decision.
Paul smiles. He tells Heather that he is very happy for her. He gives her a hug. Heather looks touched.
Adam walks in. Paul congratulates his future son in-law, and he asks him to take good care of his daughter.
Heather and Adam are alone in the office now. They kiss, and Paul watches unseen, looking concerned.
