I wasn't really sure where to put this, so I decided to start a new thread. Anyway, Doug send me an e-mail and told me he put his name in the Younger Actress Category! ( just kidding). He actually put his name in the Lead Actor category. Pre-noms are supposed to be released on Feb. 26, with the actaul Nominations being revealed in April and the Award Show (no word if it will be televised or not) in June.

Thanks for the update! So glad he decided to go lead. I hope we'll see him and Peter Bergman represent Y & R in the prenoms. There are so many potential supporting people all vying for a spot there I would hate to have see him get squeezed out.
Finger crossed for the announcement in February. If he does get nominated they'd better televise the show!!

IF (and it's a BIG IF, because who knows who will end up being pre-nommed), which episode should Doug submit? I believe actors are only allowed to submit one eppy. I guess I'll have to go back through my tapes and youtube to find them.

Only one episode? Wow - that's a challenge. Too bad they can't do a clips reel.
I really liked the one with Paul and Todd in the church after Nikki had abandoned him.
I think over at Goldderby they ran an Emmy submissison thread for the 2009 year with people contributing episodes/scenes that at the time that they thought were Emmy worthy. Will have to go back and look at it to see which Paul episodes they raved about to jog my memory. He had so much good stuff last year (and this!)

At first, I was thinking he should choose the eppy where Patty reveals who she is to Paul or the one where Paul lashes out at Victor. However, I forget what else happened in those episodes, so I'm not sure if one or two scenes would help him out.

I know I shouldn't get ahead of myself, but he has some good tapes for this year as well.
