I really like what she has to say about "Heather". I am, however, still having a hard time getting used to her in the role. She just doesn't look like Paul's daughter, especially considering April is also blonde. When she was in a scene with Jack and Paul I remember thinking to myself, she looks a lot more like Jack's daughter than Paul's. I think this re-cast is really going to take a while for me to get used to but hopefully she'll do the Heather character justice.

Thanks for that link Kari! Yes she seems to "get" what Heather is all about. Now it's up to the writers to enable ER to use that background as she grows into the character. It's been a jarring recast no question. I hope it will all work out for the best. Now we need to see them write more father/daughter scenes to re-establish the relationship that has worked so effectively up to this point.

There was an article about ER in the last SID (Nina, Chance, Chloe, Ronan on the cover). She talks about taking over as Heather "I know it's not easy to turn on your favorite show one day and see a different face playing a character you love. So I truly appreciate them giving me the time to settle into the role and supporting me. I really hope that what I'm doing lives up to their expectations, and I will win them over. I know that I will work very hard to make that happen!"

Then there is a quote about Doug as her new TV Dad. "He's phenominal! Being on the set with him is pure fun!"
