Vail - thank you for three great years of portraying Heather Stevens on Y & R.
Heather was a character who I had wanted to see return to the show for years - ever since she was last seen in 1994 as a pre teen - so you can imagine my delight
when she made her first appearance as an adult - walking into the Baldwin's apartment and announcing she was the new ADA taking over William Bardwell's case file.
And you did not disappoint.
You imbued Heather with everything I had hoped Paul's grown up daughter would be: with confidence beauty ambition intelligence tenacity and authenticity.
Yet under that tough exterior you still let us see her vulnerabilities and self doubts and the emotional effects of her back history.
I loved the natural chemistry you had with Paul - the sizzle you had with Adam (and Billy!) and the great scenes you played during Heather's times of personal and
professional disappointment and betrayal. Plus Heather was one character who never backed down from Victor Newman! You made her very human and believable in spite
of some challenging story situations at times!
Your Emmy nomination last year was so well deserved.
I know you will go on to more great things and look forward to seeing you on my screen again in the near future.
Thank you for entertaining us through some great story lines. You will be missed but never forgotten! Good luck where ever your next venture takes you!

Vail, thanks so much for your awesome portrayal of Heather! You are truly going to be missed. Paul, April and baby Heather were my first favourite Y&R family, and although the union
didn't last long, I always looked forward to when April and Heather would eventually return. It was great when Heather came back in her early teens, but that also didn't last long enough.
I was extremely happy when adult Heather came back with you in the role! You were a perfect Heather! A smart, high achieving workaholic.
A little tough on the outside with some attitude - protection needed given the history of the character, but overall a kind soul. Loved the scenes with Paul and Heather,
a realistic portrayal of father and daughter, just wish that there had been more. Heather and Adam became my favourite couple.
I was looking forward to 'Headam' taking corporate GC by storm, too bad those in charge didn't know a good thing when they had it.
You are a great actress, I had the opportunity to see you in Cold Case, and even watched Entourage for the first time, just to see your brief scene.
I'm looking forward to seeing you on-screen again soon. Best wishes in your future endeavours!

What a breath of fresh air you brought to the show as Heather Stevens! I was watching Y&R when Heather's parents, Paul and April, were together and like so many other long-time fans
I really wanted the writers to bring back Paul's daughter some day. And then Vail you appeared. You are just a stunningly beautiful and sexy woman (the hottest one to come on the show
in years!) and you really did make the character of Heather your own - tough when needed, yet sympathetic and completely convincing as Paul's daughter.
And your onscreen chemistry with Chris Engen's "Adam" was off the charts!! I loved you both as an onscreen couple. It's not that often long-time fans immediately take to a new character,
even if they're a legacy character as Heather is. But I loved watching you and I can't tell you how upset I am that you're no longer going to be playing the role.
You are incredibly talented and there's no doubt you'll be success in whatever you do in the future, but I won't accept anyone else as Heather Stevens and
I'll miss your presence on the show.

Vail, I have really enjoyed watching you grow into your role as Heather Stevens. It was so nice to finally see Paul have family again.
For an actor I'm sure doing court scenes is hard to do but you did them well. I thought you had some standout performances
when Heather confronted Adam about Rafe and also when she was in the church with her Aunt Patti. I am really sad to see you leave Y&R. I have definitely become a fan of your work.
