At Lauren's apartment, Paul is surprised to run into Heather. The young and lovely woman seems glad to see her mother's friend. She tells him she's the new ADA. He congratulates her.
Paul took Heather to the Indigo. He can't believe she's here. They talk about her former job in Chicago. She learned a lot there, and she's now glad to get a job in a smaller city. Paul offers to help her if she needs anything.
Later, at the hospital, Maggie wants to know what's going on with Paul. He answers he's just a little distracted. Distracted... And does his distraction have anything to do with the 20-something blonde in the D.A.'s office?
Paul admits he's interested in this amazing young lady. He is her father. And there's something else Maggie should know. Heather has no idea.
