Paul arrives at Fenmore's. Why did Lauren want to see him? The young woman mischievously tries to seduce him. When was their last memorable moment together? Does the dinner they had in this office count? What does she mean exactly? Is she so mysterious? Actually she isn't. So, Paul kindly tells her that he's getting closer to Christine. They even planned a romantic trip, as soon as Nick's case is over.
Lauren looks disappointed. Paul tells her there will always be a special place for her in his heart. Lauren finally says she's leaving Genoa. She's moving to Los Angeles for business. She wanted to see Paul to say goodbye to him.
Paul is touched. Living without Lauren, that's the end of an era. Lauren disagrees. According to her, that's the beginning of an era, for both of them. She asks for a kiss, to wish her luck. He kisses her and then, he gives her a hug, to wish her luck and for all the memories.
Goodbye Lauren. Take good care of yourself. I'll miss you.
Lauren, in tears, looks at Paul getting out of the office.
