Paul arrives at the warehouse. The door's unlocked. He sees Maggie in the cage. He wants to talk to her, but he is violently hit and he falls unconscious. Later, he slowly wakes up in the cage. He gets closer to Maggie and he realizes she's been shot. He takes her in his arms and begs her to stay awake.
Maggie is now lying on the couch. Paul is next to her, taking care of her wound. "Someone will come, everything's gonna be fine", he promises. At Maggie's request, Paul explains that the insane woman who locked them up, had plastic surgery to look like Phyllis Newman but is in fact Sheila Carter. "I should have killed her before she had a chance to hurt somebody else", he adds. He pulls his hand away from Maggie's midriff and looks concerned by all the blood his girlfriend has been loosing.
Paul left Maggie's "bedside" but he goes on talking with her. She feels responsible for Sheila's flight. While trying to reach the radio transmitter standing out of the cage, he answers he is the only one to blame. Maggie moans and Paul immediately runs to her. "I know, it really hurts", he says while putting pressure on the wound. "What is this place?" Maggie asks. Paul tells her it's an exact replica of Fen's nursery. Sheila was planning to keep Lauren and her baby in here. But he figured it out and he caught her in her own web. "Okay tough guy, I'm gonna have to arrest you when we get out of here", Maggie says.
Paul is finally able to get the transmitter. He immediately uses it to get in touch with Sheila and he tells her to get an ambulance for Maggie, to no avail. Maggie jokes about her bikini-wearing days being over. Paul kindly disagrees. "Scars are sexy", he says. He adds that the wound doesn't look bad. He asks Maggie how she is feeling. She whispers she's tired, and she falls asleep. Paul is worried. "Maggie, Maggie, sweetheart, talk to me please" he says. But Maggie doesn't wake up.
Thanks to the transmitter, Sheila gets in touch with Paul to let him know that she's holding Lauren, Phyllis and their babies captive. Later, Paul's cellphone rings. Paul tells an unconscious Maggie that the call's probably from Michael, who will be there soon to free them.
