Patty fell in love with Jack Abbott. She married him. Patty miscarried after finding out that her husband had an affair with Diane Jenkins. She shot Jack and then left Genoa in 1984.
Patty's whereabouts
In 1996, Paul explained to Christine that he had stopped looking for Patty when he understood that Patty didn't want to be found.
The phone rang at Mary's and a blond woman was seen in a phone box.
In 1998, Mary received a Christmas card from Patty, but she still didn't know where her daughter was.
On September 25, 2003 (# 7723), Paul asked his mother for Todd’s number. She wondered if he needed to contact Steve and Patty as well.
Did she know where Patty was at that time?
On August 4, 2009 (#9203), Paul told Todd that Patty hadn't returned his calls, and that the e-mail address he had for her didn't work.
Mary Jane Benson
First appearance: On March 18, 2009 (#9106). Billy Abbott introduces Mary Jane to his brother Jack.
Last appearance: On August 21, 2009 (# 9216). Mary Jane gets caught by Paul. She tells him she's his sister Patty.
In March 2009, a mysterious woman, hired by Victor Newman, arrived in Genoa City. Her name's Mary Jane Benson. Paul ran into her at Katherine's wedding and he immediately thought that he had met her before. Later, Mary Jane, who seems obsessed by Jack, rushed away when she saw Todd and Paul at CL. After seing Jack with Phyllis, she caused Summer's coma. Paul ended up catching her and she told him she was his sister.
Locked up in a mental hospital
Paul and Patty took refuge in a church, but at Victor's request, Patty was kidnapped by Gloria and Jeffrey and then was found by Colleen who freed her.
Patty took Colleen hostage, and the young woman ended up drowning accidentally. Patty escarped after shooting Victor three times. Paul found her and convinced her to turn herself in.
Emily Peterson, who had been Patty's psychiatrist in Minneapolis arrived in Genoa after finding out that her patient had plastic surgery to look like her and was now lock up in a mental hospital.
She agreed to stay in Genoa to help Patty, but she fell in love with Jack. When Patty found out that Emily was going to marry Jack, she knocked her out, drugged her and left her unconscious in her room.
Mrs Jack Abbott again
After escarping from the mental hospital, Patty married Jack Abbott again and left Genoa with him for their honeymoon.
