She just opened her heart to the wrong person. He knows what's like. Perfect timing: his cell phone's ringing. It's Nikki, telling him there's an emergency with Katherine. Paul has to go.
#9333 Wednesday, February 10 2010. Heather runs into Paul at the club. She feels something is wrong and asks her father to confide in her. He does. He worries about Patty, who isn't herself anymore these days. He wishes he had tracked his sister down years ago when she ran away.
#9351 Monday, March 8 2010. At the coffee house, Heather kindly hugs her father and she asks him how Patty is.
#9369 Monday, April 5 2010. Paul notices that something is wrong with Heather and goes to talk to her.
#9382 Thursday, April 22 2010. Paul and Heather visit Emily in the mental hospital. Later, at Crimson Lights, they talk about Patty. Heather says that her aunt keeps insisting she is Emily. Jack comes in and aks Paul to help him finding Emily's brother.
#9392 Thursday, May 6 2010. Heather confesses to Paul that she had Patty's DNA tested. Later, she runs in with the results: the woman in the padded cell isn't Patty. Paul and Heather go into the Abbott house, but the place is empty. They find the note that Patty wrote for Jack: Emily will never love him the way she does. She's leaving town and will never come back.
#9394 Monday, May 10 2010. At the Abbott house, Heather tells her father not to blame himself. Paul says he can't imagine what Emily has gone through. she kept telling him she wasn't his sister, but he didn't listen to her. He wonders why he didn't realized that who he thought was Emily was in fact Patty. "She fooled everyone", Heather answers. Back at the mental hospital, Paul and Heather tell Jack and Emily that Patty is there. She signed in an hour ago and hasn't signed out. They go to look for her. When they come back, Jack tells them that this is Patty, right here. She switched place with Emily once again. He wants to know where Emily is. Patty says she's gone. Jack leaves. Heather looks at Paul helping Patty to calm down.
#9395 Tuesday, May 11 2010. Patty asks Paul to help her escarpe as Heather observes. Paul says he can't do that. Patty answers there's another way to leave. She whips a syringe out of the upholstery and threatens to kill herself. Heather goes for help as Paul tries to make his sister changes her mind. Patty confesses that she killed Emily, but Emily comes in with Jack and Heather and tells Patty her plan didn't work. Patty gives the syringe to Paul who gives it to Heather before hugging his sister. Later, Heather comforts her father. She tells him that Patty will be moved to jail until they decide what to do with her. Paul cries after seing Patty being taken away in straitjacket. Heather gives him a hug.

#9448 Friday, July 23 2010. When he learns that Ronan is now watching over Heather, Paul says he won't let the two of them out of his sight. Later, at the coffee house, Paul sees Ronan with his hand on heather's arm. He punches him just as Christine walks in. Christine tells Heather and Paul that Ronan isn't a dirty cop. He's there to protect Heather, so is she.
#9449 Monday, July 26 2010. Christine tells Paul and Heather that Ronan abd she planted the drugs in Chance's car to get him off the case. Paul and Heather promise they won't say anything to Nina and Chance.
#9453 Friday, July 30 2010. There was another attempt made on Heather's life. Paul asks his daughter if she's all right. She says she is. Ronan and Chance argue. Paul intervenes. He wants Ronan to focus on protecting Heather and Chance to go. Chance leaves. Paul is furious when he learns that his daughter was used as bait. He wants her safe and says he's going to spend the night at her place. After Ronan and Christine got out, Paul takes Heather in his arms and reassures her.

#9462 Thursday, August 12 2010. Heather and Chance meet Paul, Christine and Nina at the Chancellor Estate.

#9478 Friday, September 3 2010. Paul arrives at Heather's apartment with chocolate croissants. He notices that his daughter has been crying. She admits that keeping what she knows a secret is weighing on her. Paul guesses she's in love with Chance. He says he understands how she feels, but advises her not to blow Ronan's cover to the D.A. or anyone else. He hugs her and tells her to be strong before leaving.

#9490 Thursday, September 23 2010. Heather tells Paul she doesn't want to listen to the recording from Chance's wire. Paul offers to stay with her, but she insists she can't listen to Chance's last words now. They discuss her work, Adam's case and Victor's visit. Paul leaves when Heather has to take a call. When he comes back, his daughter is crying. (She listened to the recording of Chance's death) Paul huggs her, and kindly comforts her.
#9518 Tuesday, November 2 2010. Paul questions Heather about Victor's involvement in her campaign's financing.
He reminds her of the way Victor used Patty against Jack, and urges her to get out of whatever deal she's made with him.
Later, Paul overshears his daughter planning to tape a new TV spot. He asks her if she would do anything to win this election.
#9520 Thursday, November 4 2010. At the Club, Paul says to his daughter that she's a terrific prosecutor, and despite their disagreements, he is very proud of her. Heather gets a call about Billy article mentionning Victor's involvement in her campaign. She and Paul confront Billy. Heather gets another call from the party chairman; her poll numbers are plummeting and they want her to resign. Paul tells his daughter he loves her and he will support her whatever she decides. Reporters appear. Heather tells them she did nothing wrong, but is withdrawing her candidacy.
#9526 Friday, November 12 2010. Paul and Heather discuss Adam's case. The D.A. arrives. Heather congratulates him. He thanks her and tells her she's fired.
#9531 Friday, November 19 2010. Paul and Heather have coffee at CL. They discuss her job hunting. Heather agrees to have Thanksgiving with her father and Nina. Paul says that Ronan was invited too but turned Nina down.
#9533 Tuesday, November 23 2010. Paul and Heather are at the Chancellor Estate to celebrate Thanksgiving with Nina, Katherine, Murphy and Ronan. Paul tells everyone that Heather found a new job; she will work with Michael.
