Paul found out that Sheila Carter was responsible for Lauren's death (In fact, Lauren is still alive. She's held prisoner in a bombshelter).
Paul cries. When he hears the bell ringing, he dries his tears and then, he lets Scott in. He shows him Sheila's picture. Scott immediately recognizes his friend Brenda.
Paul isn't surprised. He explains to Scott that Brenda is in fact Lauren's worst ennemy Sheila Carter, and that she is responsible for Lauren's death.
Scott doesn't understand, so Paul starts to tell him about the evil history between Sheila and Lauren. Scott realizes he already knows this story: this is the one he has been writting with Brenda.
The young man feels responsible for his mother's death. Paul answers he is not. He asks for his help to catch Sheila. Scott agrees. He leaves a message on Brenda's cell.
