Mary-Jo's car stops in front of Jabot. The crazy woman gets into the building. Paul wants to follow her immediately, but Victor disagrees because Mary-Jo might see them.
Paul and Victor finally entered the building too. They are in the basement now. They know that Mary-Jo isn't far. At the same time, Christine tries to make her put her gun down, to no avail. Mary-Jo shoots, then, she gets out, but Paul and Victor are standing in her way. She shoots again and then she gets back into the room of her prisoner. Christine punches her captor who fells on the floor. Paul takes Christine in his arms while Victor takes care of the gun.
Still in Paul's arms, Christine wants to know where she is, how they found her and what happened with the gun. Paul briefly explains that he loaded it with blanks when he put a transmitter in Mary-Jo's handbag.
Mary-Jo gets arrested by detective Adams. Paul is alone with Christine now. Does she want him to do something for her? Actually, she does. She wants them to get married as soon as possible. Paul smiles and then, he passionately kisses Christine.
